Collaboration between the School and industry is important for the advancement of engineering teaching and research and for a sustainable future. Links between industry, academic staff and students ensure:
- industry is provided with high quality engineering graduates
- students develop practical skills and gain workplace experience prior to graduation
- programs continually evolve and incorporate the latest in industry knowledge
- research is conducted to meet industry needs e.g. to deliver new products, processes and materials
- funding to progress research that will provide new opportunities and solve some of the world's major challenges.
The School of Chemical Engineering is constantly exploring ways to deliver benefits to industry and society through engineering teaching and research. Industry members are invited to contact the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology to discuss any issues of interest
